Ethan Espie will share his Python script which web-scrapes the pages of current baseball players on MLB.com to get their birth places. And then plots the players for each team on a world map.
Gene Martin will host a research focus group, investigating knowledge coordination in organizational interoperability and hopes to ground truth some ideas with the group.
Keenan Ganz will present on using Python to prepare flight path animations in Google Earth.
Anyone is invited to share (their own or news about any interesting) small or large geospatial projects. As always any geo-questions are encouraged and will gladly be discussed within the group.
