Lisa Enns will present on using R for census data pulls. We’ll start with a brief overview of the different types of census surveys and geography types so you have a better idea of what survey to use for different analyses. We’ll then explore some basic R code and a few additional resources to use when looking into census data.

Christy Heaton will talk about mapping the April 8 total solar eclipse.

Matt Stevenson will discuss (and attempt to explain) a peculiar addressing scheme he encountered in the medieval German town of Durlach.
